"Clairet," the ancient, light, chillable red (or dark rosé, if you prefer) of Bordeaux gets a  natural-leaning spin from Château Massereau, a family estate in the Entre-Deux-Mers.

This traditional style gave birth to the word "Claret" -- the British term for Bordeaux -- in the middle ages. Today it's about as forward-thinking a wine as we get: the family farms organically and vinifies with minimal intervention, ferment with native yeasts in stainless steel, and bottle the wine young for fresh, vibrant fruit.  

Le Rouge Éclairé is a delicious mix of joyful fruit (Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon), terroir expression (from gravel and clay-limestone soils) and ancient tradition, in an approachable frame.
