Claire Hill’s Chardonnay comes from the historic Lolonis Vineyard in Mendocino’s Redwood Valley. Dry-farmed and certified organic since the 1980s, the site’s gravelly loam and cool nights preserve freshness and structure.

In 2023, Claire fermented the fruit in neutral oak with full malolactic and no additions beyond minimal SO2. The result is textured but taut, emphasizing site transparency and restraint. A clean, unfussy expression of California Chardonnay.
