Case Nere is a pristine and balanced expression of Nebbiolo from a sheltered vineyard in La Morra that maintains exceptional heat for ripe black fruit development. Aged 15 months in 70% new French oak, then an additional 15 months in large used casks, it delivers intense red and black fruit aromas layered with sweet spice, tar, smoke and licorice notes. The full-bodied structure reveals soft, integrated tannins and a pleasant spicy finish. An excellent example of how terroir and careful oak aging can create complexity without losing Nebbiolo's delicate fruit character.
