What is this wine?
Les Petites Fleurs 2024 is a light, juicy red from natural-wine icons Marie and Vincent Tricot, based in Auvergne, central France. Working organically since the early 2000s, the Tricots farm old vines on volcanic soils and craft wines with minimal intervention—native yeasts, no fining or filtering, and little or no added sulfur. This cuvée is typically a blend dominated by Gamay, sometimes with a touch of Pinot Noir or other local varieties, labeled as Vin de France (VDF) to allow full creative freedom.

Why get this wine?
The Tricots are beloved for their soulful, pure, and utterly drinkable natural wines. Les Petites Fleurs captures their signature style: playful, aromatic, and full of life. It’s an approachable, honest red that embodies the best of Auvergne’s volcanic freshness—perfect for fans of light-bodied, chillable natural wines like Lapierre or Foillard Beaujolais, but with its own rustic charm.

What does this wine taste like?
Fresh red berries, crushed raspberry, and cherry compote meet hints of violet, spice, and a subtle earthy edge. Silky, juicy, and refreshing, with gentle tannins and a lively, thirst-quenching finish.

When should you drink this wine?
Best enjoyed young, slightly chilled, and shared with friends. Ideal with charcuterie, roast chicken, or a casual picnic. Drink now through 2026 for maximum vibrancy.
