What is this wine?
Antinori’s Solaia 2021 is one of Italy’s most iconic wines—a Cabernet Sauvignon–based blend from the Tenuta Tignanello estate in the heart of Chianti Classico. First produced in 1978, Solaia comes from a 20-hectare southwest-facing vineyard planted on marl and limestone soils at 350–400 meters elevation. The 2021 vintage, a standout in Tuscany, is composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, and Cabernet Franc, all hand-harvested and aged in new French oak barrels for 18 months.
