Professional Reviews

Antonio Galloni

AG 90
"The NV Brut Nature is a beautiful wine that captures so much of what makes the Dehours Champagnes so appealing. This release is based on 2015, with 30% reserve wines from a perpetual reserve that dates back to 1998. In tasting, the Brut Nature shows terrific freshness and focus to play off some of the more complex notes from the older wines in the blend. Expressive floral overtones heighten a core of orchard fruit, almond and spice flavors nicely. The Brut Nature is a touch eccentric, but quite compelling as well." -Vinous

Robert Parker

"Disgorged in May 2018 and based on the 2015 vintage, Dehours's NV Brut Nature is showing nicely, mingling aromas of honey, linden and citrus oil with subtle hints of warm pastry. Medium to full-bodied, pillowy and precise, it's chiseled and saline, with a delicate pinpoint mousse. "

Champagne

Champagne boasts some of the world’s greatest luxury brands with Krug, Cristal and, of course, Dom Perignon. But it’s also home to hundreds of small dynamic producers—farmers who grow their own grapes (often organically) and make (often with natural methods) tiny amounts of pure and absolutely delicious wine that reflect the individual personalities of their villages and terroirs. Toast with these wines, for sure. But also treat them like the great wines they are: taste, drink, explore!
