It's Port and Madeira season, and if you're not already a huge fan of these fascinating, historically rich and versatile Iberian classics, it's time to get on board. Leading us through a wonderful selection of Port and Madeira will be Adam Rieger of Polaner Selections. On Wednesday, October 15, Adam will help us understand the magic of Port and Madeira while we drink some amazing examples, and he'll help guide us on their proper service, pairing, and enjoyment.
More about Adam:

After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, Adam Rieger hit the NYC restaurant scene, working for Oceana and then Becco with Joe Bastianich before getting his first Wine Director position with the opening of Casa Mono and Bar Jamon. He later helped open Bar Americain (a now-closed Bobby Flay restaurant) as Wine Director and worked there for many years. For the last 15 years, he has worked with Polaner Selections as portfolio manager for Iberia and South America.

The cost of this seminar is $30 and a $20 credit at the store will be extended to each guest for a future purchase. Seating is limited and special pricing on the featured wines will be made available only to attendees. We hope you can join us on the mezzanine at 6pm on

Wednesday, October 15 for this special evening.
