Aurélien Revillot’s Bourgueil “Sur Les Hauts” 2020 is a pure Cabernet Franc from the upper slopes (“les hauts”) of Bourgueil in the Loire Valley. Revillot farms organically and works with minimal intervention to express the character of the region’s clay-limestone and tuffeau soils. Fermented with native yeasts and aged gently in old barrels, this wine captures both the purity and depth of Loire Cabernet Franc in a beautifully balanced style.
