"The 2019 Sancerre Génération Dix-Neuf (XIX) Rouge is dark and intense as well as elegant and pure on the dense, concentrated but fresh, spicy and aromatic nose that combines reductive and oxidative features. On the palate, this is a full-bodied, generous, intense, pretty fleshy and seriously structured Pinot Noir with firm but juicy tannins and generous fruit and intensity. This is a remarkably good red wine from Sancerre. 14.5% stated alcohol. Diam cork. Tasted in December 2022." -Stephan Reinhardt
