Le Fontane’s 2023 Sabbie Rosse is 70% Frappato and 30% Nero d’Avola from red sandy soils over limestone in Chiaramonte Gulfi. The Occhipinti siblings founded the estate in 2022, building on the COS tradition with organic farming and minimalist winemaking.

Fermented with native yeasts in concrete after a 15-day skin maceration, the wine ages 8–10 months in thick unlined concrete before bottling. This is their core red—bright, structured, and mineral, shaped by Sicily’s southeast terroir.
