Are you a member of the ABC ("Anything but Chardonnay") club? No judgement, but you may have noticed that your wine geek friends can't get enough of this incredibly versatile grape and its expressions from Burgundy and Champagne to Western Australia and beyond. If you're feeling left out, this class is for you. Break the stereotype and find out why wine industry folks are obsessed with the grape. In this class we'll learn the various production methods of Chardonnay and the subsequent effects on taste. Ren Peir, WSET III, might just make a believer out of you.

This class will begin at 6:00pm on Tuesday, November 12 and run for approximately 90 minutes. Wines tasted in class will be available for purchase with a discount available to attendees only. 

Each class begins at 6pm. Unless otherwise noted, classes will last approximately 75-90 minutes. Seating is limited and we encourage early arrival if you wish to sit together with your party. If your plans change, let us know as soon as possible: refunds can only be issued when notice is given 48 hours before the start of class. 


Meet your instructor

Ren Peir

Ren Peir is a WSET III-certified wine curator and educator with a special interest in building community around wine for queer and trans people of color.



Ren's love of wine developed as a way to bridge the cultural and language gap with her father, and has since developed into a full-blown obsession complete with spreadsheets and graphs. In addition to teaching classes, Ren throws exclusive dinner popups and wine collaboration events all over the city. She loves advocating for wines made from sustainable and mindful farming practices.
