4 Monos’ Albillo Real 2022 comes from old vines grown on granite and sand in the rugged hills west of Madrid. The grape—Albillo Real—is indigenous, low-yielding, and known for producing subtle, textural wines that carry flavor without flash.
The 2022 vintage is fermented with native yeasts and aged in neutral oak, resulting in a wine that’s creamy yet taut, with notes of white peach, almond, chamomile, and crushed rock. There’s no oak flavor here—just soft edges, savory depth, and a long, lightly salty finish.
