The serious bottling from Ada Nada in Treiso, drawn from their oldest Nebbiolo in the Rombone cru and now showing the rewards of nearly twenty years in bottle. This family estate has worked Rombone since 1919, and Cichin (a very limited production) comes off old vines aged long in large Slavonian oak. 2007 was a warm, ripe Barbaresco vintage, so the wine is fully resolved and savory now rather than tightly wound. A classic traditional Barbaresco at peak; decant and enjoy.
