It's finally back: Anne-Sophie Dubois' Fleurie 'Les Cocottes' has become one of the great customer favorites at Flatiron, and for very good reason. Dubois spent her formative years in Volnay learning Burgundian winemaking, and that education is written into every bottle she makes — the structure, the savoriness, the tension that lifts this wine above the pretty-but-shallow category that traps so much Beaujolais. She farms organically on Fleurie's granitic slopes, believing that poor soils and a struggling vine reveal Gamay's finer side. The result is a wine that has real tannic architecture, real complexity, and real longevity — the rare Beaujolais you'll want to cellar. The 2024 vintage captures all of that in an especially fresh and precise expression.
