Antoine Lienhardt, known for his precise, terroir-driven winemaking, brings the same level of care to his Bourgogne Pinot Noir as he does to his higher-end cuvées. Sourced from vineyards just outside the Côte de Nuits, this 2023 bottling is a vibrant, easygoing take on Burgundian Pinot, showcasing purity of fruit and a fresh, elegant structure.

Crisp red cherry, raspberry, and wild strawberry lead, with floral notes, a touch of spice, and a subtle earthiness underneath. The palate is silky and lifted, with fine tannins and a clean, refreshing finish. Serve slightly chilled and pair with roast chicken, charcuterie, or simple bistro fare—this is an easygoing but beautifully made Pinot that’s impossible not to love.

What importer Polaner Selections has to say about this wine...

Vineyard
Made from two vineyards "l'Etaing" and "La Platerre" on the bottom of the village of Comblanchien. These sites tend to produce concentrated fruit that suprasses the quailty of may Bourgogne level wines.
Viticulture
Organically farmed with minimal plowing so as to not disturb the soils. Strict debudding to limit yields and encourage good concentration. All grapes are picked and sorted by hand at harvest.
Vinification
Harvested at optimum ripeness (always determined by consistent tasting in the vineyards), Whole cluster semi-carbonic maceration in stainless steel tank. No sulfur added in vinification
Aging
Aged 12 months in neutral oak barrels. One gram of sulfur added before bottling.

Burgundy has long been the world's most famous wine region. But, underneath all the prestige, this region can be hard to get to know.

While Burgundy offers many great trophies from top producers in well-known villages like Vosne Romanee and Puligny Montrachet, it also offers excellent values to anyone willing to explore beyond the famous names. Our collection– one of the largest in the U.S. – has plenty of both!

From the very basics of Burgundy's regions and wines to the specific terroirs of individual single vineyards--
everything you need to know about Bourgogne is just a click away!
