Ar.Pe.Pe. works the terraced slopes of Valtellina in northern Lombardy, where Nebbiolo goes by the local name Chiavennasca and grows on sandy, decomposed granite that pushes the grape toward perfume and lift instead of weight. The Rosso is their entry bottling, fermented with native yeasts and raised in large neutral casks so nothing gets between you and the fruit.
