This is the easy, everyday face of Valpolicella, a bright and endlessly drinkable red from a respected family estate in the Classica heartland near San Floriano. Brigaldara makes serious Amarone, but this bottling is the opposite of heavy: a blend of Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella from older vineyards, fermented fresh and raised briefly in steel to keep its fruit and lift intact. There is no drying of grapes and no oak here, just juicy red fruit and a gentle savory edge. Serve it with a light chill and pour it freely.
