Croatian skin-contact white with 16 generations of heritage—the Bura family has made wine on the Peljesac Peninsula since 1410. This Rukatac (also known as Marastina) spends about 7 days on skins, fermented with native yeasts in open vats. The steep 45-degree slopes receive the "three suns"—direct light, sea reflection, and radiant heat from stone terraces. Organic farming, coarse filtration, minimal sulfur.

More about Bura

Sixteen generations of winemaking history—since 1410—on Dalmatia's Pelješac Peninsula. The Bura-Mrgudić family practices strict organic viticulture on the impossibly steep cru slopes of Dingač and Postup, where vines can only be worked by hand. Minimal intervention in the cellar (just minimal sulfur at bottling), wild fermentations, zero ego—the result is Plavac Mali that tastes like sun, stone, and water-carved limestone. The next generation (siblings Boris and Antonija) carry forward the legacy with modern perspective. Modern Croatian wine at its most uncompromising and honest.
