Catherine & Pierre Breton are legends of France’s natural wine world—vignerons who have spent decades championing organic farming, low-intervention winemaking, and the soulful expression of terroir. Although better known for their reds in Bourgueil and Chinon, their white wines—especially this Vouvray Chenin Sec—show a lighter, more playful side of their work.

La Dilettante is crafted from Chenin Blanc grown on Vouvray’s classic limestone and clay soils, fermented with native yeasts and aged with minimal intervention to preserve freshness and purity. The 2023 vintage is dry, but layered: white flowers, green apple, pear skin, and a smoky minerality that gives the wine lift and structure. The acidity is vivid but beautifully integrated, making every sip mouthwatering and energetic.
