Château de Laubade is a leading estate in Bas Armagnac, known for crafting expressive, barrel-aged spirits from estate-grown fruit. Their V.S.O.P. (Very Superior Old Pale) is aged for a minimum of 6 years, far exceeding the legal minimum of 4, and is composed of classic Armagnac varieties like Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche, and Baco.
The spirit is distilled on-site in traditional continuous stills and aged in Gascon oak barrels, many of which are made from trees grown on the estate. The resulting blend is rich but balanced—showing notes of dried apricot, toasted nuts, baking spice, vanilla, and a touch of smoky wood.
