"A more elegant and cooler nose of very ripe red cherries, plum, stone and a hint of the sauvage introduces intensely mineral-driven, energetic and beautifully well-delineated flavors that brim with an abundance of dry extract. There is a hallmark austerity to the sappy and impeccably well-balanced finish that, like the Chaponnières, is clearly built for the very long haul. If you can find it, this is absolutely one to buy but please remember that this is expressly meant to age."
