"From the Fosilni Breg and representing the selection of the finest and purest barrels, the 2021 Sauvignon Blanc Reserve was aged for 42 months on the fine lees and will be bottled in later April 2025. Already clear in its lemon-yellow color, the wine opens with a deep, intense and elegant, aromatic and spicy/phenolic bouquet of juicy lemon fruit and earthy nuances. Full-bodied, elegant and fresh on the palate, this is a tight and expressive yet playful or finessed, enormously saline and textured Sauvignon Blanc with crystalline acidity and a savory and bitter finish. Still young and rather austere, this is the Tement Zieregg version of the Slovenian part of the cru. 12.5% stated alcohol. Screw-cap closure. Tasted in April 2025."
