Bandol from a limestone plateau in the appellation's northwestern corner, where the Hocquard family has farmed since 1968. Agnès Henry, with 30+ years of winemaking experience, runs the 14-hectare estate. The rouge is 55% Mourvèdre, 25% Grenache, 15% Cinsault, 5% Carignan—Mourvèdre being Bandol's signature grape. Organic farming, biodynamic treatments since 2018. Agnès aims for Bandol's power with finesse—"pure wines without artifice." At 150 meters elevation on red earth, clay, sand, and gravel over limestone. Mourvèdre country.
