Dominique Lafon’s Bourgogne Blanc 2023 is a regional white Burgundy crafted by one of Meursault’s most respected vignerons. Lafon, of Domaine des Comtes Lafon fame, applies the same meticulous organic and biodynamic principles to this entry-level cuvée as he does to his grander crus. The Chardonnay grapes come primarily from younger vines and parcels around Meursault and Puligny, fermented and aged in oak (a modest portion new) to balance freshness with texture.
