The Latour family's flagship Corton, young and built for the cellar. Maison Louis Latour is one of Burgundy's oldest négociant-domaines — founded in 1797, family-owned across eleven generations, and the single largest holder of Grand Cru land on the Corton hill. Château Corton Grancey is the unified expression of that holding: a blend across multiple top Corton climats (Bressandes, Perrières, Grèves, Clos du Roi, Chaumes), assembled in vintages judged worthy and declassified in those that aren't. The vines average over forty years; only the best barrels make the final cut. 2020 was a warm but balanced Burgundy vintage that gave Pinot Noir of real concentration alongside structural backbone. Young, dense, and serious — decant aggressively now or tuck away for a decade-plus.
