Elisabetta Foradori took over young after her father's death and chose to resurrect Teroldego—a grape thought finished—betting her entire future on it. Biodynamic and Demeter-certified, she farms old vines on the sandy, gravelly Campo Rotaliano plain. No oak touches this wine. What remains: pure cranberry, pomegranate, blackberry, soft tannins, bright acidity, terroir without filter.

Antonio Galloni

"The woodsy 2023 Teroldego lifts from the glass with a pretty mix of crushed wild berries, geranium and wet stone. This is juicy and energetic in style, with tart red berry fruits that add tactile grip. The 2023 finishes admirably long with a slight tannic tug and a floral lift. This vintage may not be the longest-lived of Foradori’s Teroldegos, but it will certainly provide a lot of pleasure in the near term." —Eric Guido

Robert Parker

"Foradori's organic and biodynamic entry-level red is an exciting and fun-to-drink wine. The 2023 Teroldego Foradori is punchy and bright with layers of wild cherry, cassis, bitter almond and blue flower. The aromas presented are fresh and genuine. Fermentation is executed in cement, and the wine is aged in botte grande and cement for a quick 12 months. This is a release of 50,000 bottles." —Monica Larner

Wine Spectator

90 points

"A dark core of black raspberry and plum, stony mineral, olive and fried sage flavor is enlivened by a bright, cranberry-infused tang of acidity in this balanced red framed by light, chalky tannins. Teroldego. Best from 2026 through 2033."

More about Foradori

Elisabetta Foradori revived Nosiola, an indigenous Trentino grape that had all but disappeared. She ferments it on the skins in amphorae for eight months, a traditional technique that extracts structure and aromas. Nosiola from Foradori is delicate, long-lived, and proof that reviving old varieties isn't nostalgia—it's enlightenment.
