Monvigliero, Verduno's most prestigious cru, from a 2013 vintage prized for classic structure and floral lift. Alessandria is one of the two great references for this perfumed hillside alongside Burlotto, making wine of clarity and poise that's transparent to its site. 2013 brought firmer structure than the gentle 2012, so this rewards a decant and still has aging upside even now. Traditional Nebbiolo with Verduno's signature satin elegance, just entering its mature stride. A must-have for serious collectors who love the site.

Tasting Profile

Classic Nebbiolo: rose, red cherry, tar and licorice, firm tannins beginning to resolve, high acidity, a long savory finish. Maturing; decant for best results.
