A rare sweet white from the legendary Giuseppe Quintarelli, a 1990 dessert wine in a half-bottle, the kind of bottling that almost never surfaces. Like all of Quintarelli's wines, it is made in the old, patient Valpolicella way, from grapes dried (passito) to concentrate their sugars before a long, slow aging. A passito bianco of this age from this iconic cantina is a genuine collector's curiosity, fully mature and built to have held beautifully in its smaller format. Provenance matters with a bottle this old and this rare. A treasure for the end of a memorable meal.

More about Giuseppe Quintarelli

The icon of Valpolicella showed that traditional methods—extreme patience, obsessive detail, and refusal to compromise—could craft wines of staggering depth and complexity. For over six decades, Quintarelli aged his Amarone and Recioto in oak far longer than anyone else, releasing only what met his exacting standards. His legendary hand-written labels are a collector's dream; his wines, a masterclass in what Venetian terroir can achieve.

Tasting Profile

Sweet, full and mature: dried apricot, honey, candied citrus and nuts, balanced by lively acidity. Rich but not cloying, long and complex.
