The last Dolcetto Lorenzo Accomasso ever made before his death in August 2025 at age 91. The 2021 vintage in La Morra was cooler and more classical than the warm 2020, and it shows in the bottle: a Dolcetto with snap and tension, a real backbone of acidity, and the savory bitter-almond grip that marks Accomasso's hand from the first sip. As always with this tiny, traditionalist estate, everything is done by feel — no shortcuts, no industrial yeast, no filtration. A humble grape in the hands of a vigneron who treated every wine, from Dolcetto to Riserva, with the same quiet seriousness.
