"A pungent and highly expressive nose features notes of wood toast, spice, red currant and plum aromas. There is outstanding richness to the very fleshy and seductively textured medium-bodied flavors that coat the palate with dry extract before delivering impressive persistence and solid complexity on the well-balanced finish. This has arrived at an inflection point where it could easily be enjoyed now though I would advise holding it for another 4 to 6 years first to allow the supporting tannins to soften further. Note that it's possible that this might be a bit toasty for some but the underlying quality is undeniable."
