Morgen Long, a rising star in Oregon Chardonnay, specializes in site-driven, Burgundian-inspired wines that highlight the cool-climate elegance of the Willamette Valley. The X Omni bottling, sourced from the volcanic soils of the Eola-Amity Hills, captures both the precision and depth that define his winemaking style. The 2022 vintage, marked by bright acidity and layered complexity, delivers a Chardonnay that is as racy as it is refined.

Meyer lemon, green apple, and pear lead, with subtle notes of white flowers, hazelnut, and crushed rock. The palate is electric yet silky, balancing crisp acidity with a touch of lees-driven creaminess. A long, mineral-driven finish lingers with tension and finesse. Perfect with roasted seafood, creamy pastas, or a simple evening dedicated to exploring the new frontier of great Oregon Chardonnay.

More about Morgen Long

Seth Morgen Long is the first (and only) Oregon winemaker completely devoted to Willamette Valley Chardonnay. After 15 years in restaurants and a stint at Domaine de Montille in Burgundy, he started in 2014 buying small lots from old-school farmers. His focus on balance, acidity, and fruit development is monastic. The wine shows it.
