Mondino, from the Balluri cru at 960 feet altitude with southwest-facing exposure, creates supple, airy Barbaresco drinkable earlier in life than Busso's other crus. Limestone, clay, and sandy topsoils contribute to this wine's lighter touch while maintaining Busso's signature finesse. The 2022 shows deep, complex red fruit with spice ready to drink now or age for years. Pre-arrival status means stock arriving 2/25.
