Prà is a family domaine, and their Soaves are the best of the best. Graziano Prà started bottling at the estate in the 1980s but followed in the grape-growing footsteps of his father and grandfather. Made from the grapes Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave, and grown in limestone rich soils (well, mostly-- spoiler alert: there’s some volcanic soil hidden in these hills), these are wines that have earned their spot among the best in the region.

Professional Reviews

Antonio Galloni

AG 94
"The 2017 Amarone della Valpolicella Morandina is youthfully coy, slowly evolving with a delicate blend of dusty rose, stone dust and dried strawberries. This displays fantastic balance, cooling and crisp, with silken textures and depths of red and black fruits that slowly saturate. Crunchy tannins resonate as the 2017 tapers off dramatically long and staining, leaving a pleasantly bitter twang and saline minerals to linger on." -Eric Guido

Wine Spectator

WS 91
"A chewy red enlivened by a tang of balsamico acidity, delivering dried cranberry and raspberry fruit, mace and orange zest flavors underscored by hints of cured tobacco, smoke and fresh earth. Sleek and sculpted, with a lingering, aromatic finish. Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Oseleta. Drink now through 2034." -Alison Napjus
