From one of Barolo's most legendary crus, this Riserva represents Roagna's uncompromising commitment to tradition. The family has been making wine in Barbaresco for five generations, and sourced fruit from Vigna Rionda's steep, south-facing slopes in Serralunga for select vintages including this 2003. Roagna's approach is radical traditionalism: extremely long maceration (sometimes 100+ days), extended aging in large oak, and releases only when the wine is truly ready.
