A polished, easy-to-love junmai daiginjo from Soto, brewed in Niigata, Japan's snow country, where soft mountain snowmelt water shapes everything about the sake. This is the top tier of brewing: Gohyakumangoku rice milled to at least 50% before fermentation even begins, which is what gives junmai daiginjo its clean, aromatic refinement. The result is silky and gently fruity, an elegant introduction to premium sake in a convenient half-size bottle. Serve well-chilled.

Tasting Profile

Clean, refined junmai daiginjo: melon, pear and cucumber aromas, silky almost-creamy texture, gentle minerality and a smooth, polished finish. Best served cold.

Sōtō means "outside" in Japanese, and this sake was born as a celebration of the purity of Japan's earth, sky and waters. It combines pure mountain waters with finely polished rice for a clean, fresh taste and delicate aromas. We love it!
