Antonio Galloni

"The NV Grand Cellier (2015 base) is pure class. Creamy and exquisitely layered, the Grand Cellier remains light on its feet and vibrant. Orchard fruit, spice, pastry crust and white flowers build nicely in the glass in a Champagne of exquisite balance. This release is based on 2015, with 25% 2014 and 25% 2013 reserve wines. Dosage is 8 grams per liter. Disgorged: November, 2018." —Antonio Galloni

Robert Parker

92 points

"The NV Brut Cuvee Grand Cellier possesses gorgeous intensity in its piercing notes of lemon, white flowers and spices. Smoky, floral notes continue to emerge as the wine shows off its class and sheer energy. This is a great showing from the Grand Cellier. The Grand Cellier is 70 Chardonnay and 30 Pinot Noir. This release is based on 2008, with reserve wines from 2007 and 2006. The fruit is sourced from Les Hautes Greves and Les Basses Greves, both in Rilly la Montagne. Dosage is 10 grams per liter. Disgorged May 2011. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2015."

Decanter

91 points

"This blend of 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir is vinified entirely in the larger size oak barrels known as foudres, and it’s typically a blend of three vintages. Rich in texture yet elegantly carried, and it ages with remarkable grace. Drinking Window 2015 - 2025" —Peter Liem

Wine Spectator

93 points

"A classy Champagne, with a lovely, viscous creaminess on the palate, carrying finely detailed flavors of peach skin, spring blossom, steeped raspberry and slivered almond. Long and mouthwatering, with a well-spiced finish." —Alison Napjus

Wine Enthusiast

89 points

"This ripe, fruity offering has great depth of flavor. Vilmart is known for rich wines like this, with a high proportion of Pinot Noir in the blend. It's full with a good balance of dosage and a crisp finish."

Champagne

Champagne boasts some of the world’s greatest luxury brands with Krug, Cristal and, of course, Dom Perignon. But it’s also home to hundreds of small dynamic producers—farmers who grow their own grapes (often organically) and make (often with natural methods) tiny amounts of pure and absolutely delicious wine that reflect the individual personalities of their villages and terroirs. Toast with these wines, for sure. But also treat them like the great wines they are: taste, drink, explore!
