Though the whiskey itself is sourced (typically from Kentucky or Tennessee), each barrel is carefully chosen, blended in small batches of five, and proofed with limestone water from New York’s historic Rosendale mines—adding a literal and figurative local flavor.
Flavor-wise, this is bourbon with backbone: deep notes of dark cherry, vanilla bean, baking spice, and sweet oak, rounded out by a warm, lingering finish. The 10 years of barrel aging give it richness and complexity without turning overly woody or hot.
