We first tried this Rosé when Claus Preisinger chose it off the list at Mochiko in Vienna. It has remained a go-to staff favorite bottle of rosé...technically its only half Austrian. The other half hails from the Weninger's Hungarian vineyards near Sopron, arguably the best vineyard in what was once considered Burgenland. The acid, texture and flavors are in a divine balance. The wine ages gracefully, sometimes demanding it, although not so for this 2023 blend, which is rocking harder than ever.
