What is this wine?
Benoît Ente, based in Puligny-Montrachet, is widely admired for crafting some of the most precise and expressive Chardonnays in Burgundy. Nexe Flore is a special Puligny-Montrachet cuvée, assembled from selected village-level parcels.  Planted in 1943, these are the oldest vines in the estate. Vinified in glass.  This is raised with the same care as his premiers crus.  The 2023 vintage yielded whites of vibrancy, balance, and crystalline fruit.

Why get this wine?
With demand for Ente’s wines soaring, Nexe Flore is a rare opportunity to access Puligny from one of the region’s great growers without entering grand cru price territory. It overdelivers for its level, showing both terroir clarity and Ente’s hallmark precision. For Burgundy lovers, this is an insider’s bottle—rare, elegant, and collectible.

What does this wine taste like?
Taut and focused, with lemon zest, green apple, and white peach lifted by floral notes and wrapped in chalky minerality. Subtle hazelnut and spice from fine oak provide depth, while the finish is long and saline.

When should you drink this wine?
Already appealing young, but best from 2026 onward as it gains weight and complexity. Can age gracefully for 7–10 years. Ideal with lobster, sole, roast chicken, or creamy vegetable dishes.
