More about Pied a Terre

Pied a Terre is Richard Luftig's small Sonoma project, with Clay Mauritson making the wines. The Sauvignon Blanc comes from two Bennett Valley vineyards and ferments in used French oak without malolactic, so it stays bright and crisp. The Cabernet Sauvignon has come from Sonoma Valley since 2012, much of it farmed by Pied a Terre itself, and ages in French oak with no more than 20 percent new barrels. Two wines, done carefully, at prices that make them easy to love.
