More about Patrick Piuze

Patrick Piuze grew up in Quebec, ran a wine bar in Montreal, then headed to France in 2000 with a backpack. He ran the Chablis cellar for Olivier Leflaive, spent four years at Verget and worked at Jean-Marc Brocard before launching his own négociant house in Chablis in 2008. He owns no vines; instead he picks out specific parcels, mostly old vines, from growers he treats as long-term partners. The range runs from Petit Chablis and terroir-specific village wines like Terroir de Courgis up to Grand Crus like Les Preuses.
