Frederic Lafarge (of Domaine Michel Lafarge in Volnay) and Chantal Vial founded this Beaujolais domaine in 2014. They farm approximately 6 hectares across Chiroubles and Fleurie. Chiroubles is the highest cru of Beaujolais, with vineyards averaging 400 meters elevation on granite and quartz soils. Certified organic and Demeter biodynamic, the estate has practiced biodynamic methods from the start. Vines average 70 years old. The wine is fermented with indigenous yeasts, including semi-carbonic maceration in whole bunches.
