What is this wine?
Pedro Parra, Chile’s famed terroir expert and “rock whisperer,” makes wine in the Itata Valley, home to some of the country’s oldest bush-trained vines. Monk is 100% Cinsault from very old, dry-farmed vineyards rooted in granite soils. Fermented naturally and aged in neutral vessels, it highlights freshness, texture, and minerality—hallmarks of Parra’s minimalist winemaking style.

Why get this wine?
Cinsault in Itata is one of Chile’s most exciting stories: old vines, forgotten terroirs, and a new wave of winemakers elevating it beyond its blending-grape past. What does this wine taste like?
