"It's hard not to be swept away by the aromas of this beautifully expressive Pinot. Distinctive cherry bitters, orange rind, dried lavender, crushed thyme and the turn of the pepper grinder reel you in. The palate is silky and supple, those herbal notes threaded throughout. Tannins are firm but restrained, fine yet textural. A complete, classy, oh-so-Central Otago wine now, but one that will also cellar beautifully over the next decade or more."
