Andria Gvino’s Mariam Kisi is a singular expression from micro-terroirs in Georgia’s Kakheti region. The 2024 vintage comes from organically farmed vineyards on clay-rich soils, highlighting Kisi’s vivid structure. Grapes are semi-oxidatively fermented in qvevri with native yeasts, reflecting centuries-old technique.

Aged on skins in terracotta vessels, this orange wine shows textured depth and rustic precision. It bridges traditional Georgian amber style with fresh energy, offering a site-focused, artisanal expression.

More about Andria Gvino

Andria Gvino began in 1984, when Alexander Wolski established a family cellar to make wine for those close to him. His son George Wolski, involved since childhood, carries it on in the oldest way possible: organically farmed grapes fermented on their skins in buried clay qvevri, with no additives and no fining or filtration. Their Kisi and Rkatsiteli, including a rare pink-skinned Rkatsiteli, are grippy, textural amber wines with real soul.
