What is this wine?
Clos Larrouyat’s Jurançon Sec “Comète” 2024 is a dry white wine from the foothills of the Pyrenees in southwest France, made primarily from Gros Manseng with a touch of Petit Manseng. The estate, run by husband-and-wife team Sébastien and Christelle Coustarret, farms organically and harvests by hand from steep limestone and sandstone slopes. Fermented with native yeasts and aged on fine lees in neutral barrels, Comète is the domaine’s signature dry cuvée—pure, textural, and intensely mineral.

Clos Larrouyat has quickly become one of the rising stars of Jurançon, bringing precision and elegance to this historic appellation. Comète 2024 reflects the balance of mountain freshness and Atlantic influence, offering vivid fruit, saline energy, and Burgundian finesse.
