Atxa, Vino Vermouth Rojo, NV

by Acha Vino
$22.99

A beautiful red vermouth for lighter spirits, Acha Rojo is great with gin in a Martinez, with herbal liqueurs, blanco tequila, or sherry. When in doubt, serve on tap with a splash of soda water and green olives for a classic Vermouth hour, or “La Hora del Vermut”.

More about Atxa

Destilerías Acha was founded in Bilbao in 1831 by Frenchman Paul Pomés and Manuel Acha, and moved to the town of Amurrio in the 1880s. Today it is run by the fifth generation of the Acha family and is billed as the oldest active distillery in the Basque Country, with pacharán and liqueurs long part of its story. The Atxa vermouths carry that heritage forward: traditional, characterful and made for the Basque aperitivo hour. This is Spanish tradition that actually tastes like something real.
