"The 2017 Deyrem Valentin has come together nicely during élevage. It remains a bit light in body, and yet all the elements are very nicely balanced throughout. Crushed flowers, sweet red cherry fruit, mint, sweet tobacco and cedar add nuance throughout. There is a lot to like in this approachable, mid-weight Margaux."

"Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2017 Deyrem Valentin leaps from the glass with notes of Morello cherries, black raspberries and fresh blackcurrants plus touches of bay leaves, truffles and tapenade. Medium-bodied, the palate is packed with loads of red and black fruit flavors plus plenty of earthy accents and a plush texture, finishing with great freshness." -Lisa Perrotti-Brown

"Bright red fruits on the nose with hints of florality. I love the chewiness here and the creamy cherry/strawberry fruit with plums too, just fills the mouth with plush red and black fruit - really satisfying. There are some dry tannins and wood spice elements that come in though so give this some more time, but it has all the elements. Lovely."
