In Valdeorras, far from the coastal influence of Albariño country, Godello shows a different face—more grounded, more architectural, more about tension than charm. Pazo da Sinsela is a small estate working these inland slopes with precision and patience, drawing from older vines on granite and slate.

San Clemente isn’t a flashy wine. It moves slowly. There’s texture, but it’s not showy; minerality, but not austerity. The 2021 vintage is more about rhythm than fruit—an unhurried white that holds the landscape in its core. It's the kind of wine that feels less made than uncovered.

Godello at its best doesn’t perform. It settles in.
