More about Comando G

Daniel Jiménez-Landi and Fernando García founded Comando G in 2008 in the Sierra de Gredos, west of Madrid. Their 10 hectares of Garnacha grow on granite, slate and quartz at roughly 900 to 1,200 meters, farmed organically and biodynamically and tended by hand. The result is mountain Grenache of shocking elegance and freshness. Beyond a little Garnacha Blanca and Garnacha Gris, they focus on just one grape, and it shows.
